Training for Healthcare Professionals
We provide education for healthcare professionals on how to communicate compassionately and effectively with patients affected by cancer. This includes guidance on using sensitive, inclusive language that acknowledges the patient’s emotions, validates their experiences, and ensures they feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their journey.

Training for Healthcare Professionals – Cancer Diagnosis
We offer education to help healthcare professionals better understand the emotional and psychological impact of a cancer diagnosis. The training covers common struggles patients may face and provides insight into what approaches, language, and behaviours are supportive and what may unintentionally cause harm.
 

Workshops for University Students – Communicating with Patients
We deliver workshops for university students (including nursing and allied health students) to develop skills in compassionate communication with patients experiencing a new cancer diagnosis. These sessions focus on language awareness, the importance of empathy, and avoiding harmful assumptions during care delivery.
