2025 Mental Health Awareness Breakfast

Our 2025 Mental Health Awareness & Wellbeing Breakfast took place on 7th October at the Victoria Point Sharks Sporting Club. We were honoured to welcome our incredible guest speakers: Monique Murphy (Paralympic Silver Medallist), Jake Edwards (former AFL player and founder of Outside the Locker Room), and Dayne Weston (former NRL player and founder of Men of Gold).

The purpose of the mental health breakfast was to raise funds for our Pay It Forward Fund, which enables us to provide vital community support to members who may be experiencing financial hardship. We believe that access to mental health support should never be determined by financial circumstances.

We were joined by an inspiring mix of community members, councillors, members of parliament, and local businesses. The event was an outstanding success, and we’re already looking forward to hosting it again next year as we continue our mission to support local families and promote mental wellbeing.
