Helen is part of The Patient Approach Cancer & Wellness Centre, providing compassionate, evidence-based Occupational Therapy support with a special interest in lymphoedema and oncology scar management. She works alongside individuals navigating cancer treatment, recovery, surgery and other acute or chronic health conditions, helping to reduce the impact of swelling, scarring and treatment-related changes on daily life.
Helen supports clients through all stages of lymphoedema care, from early intervention through to complex long-term management, with a focus on improving comfort, function, tissue mobility, confidence and overall quality of life.
Her treatment approach may include manual lymphatic drainage, compression therapy, scar management, vacuum therapy and intermittent pneumatic compression, tailored to each individual’s goals and needs. Oncology scar treatment can also be booked as an independent service or combined with lymphoedema management.
Helen is passionate about collaborative, client-centred care and works closely with each person’s broader medical and allied health team to support recovery, independence and a return to the activities that matter most.
