Co-Founder/ Care Coordinator

Co-Founder/ Care Coordinator

Person wearing a blue headscarf and glasses with a medical catheter visible.

Katie is the Co-Founder and Care Coordinator of The Patient Approach Cancer & Wellness Centre. The idea for the centre emerged from her own lived experience navigating the healthcare system, where she recognized how overwhelming and fragmented cancer support services can feel once you leave the hospital. Steph’s journey was quite similar, which is what united them in creating something different.

Together, they are passionate about building a warm, welcoming space where patients feel truly seen, supported, and never alone. By integrating various services such as nutrition care, occupational therapy, and speech pathology under one roof, their goal is to make care simpler, more connected, and centered around what people truly need during challenging times.

Her focus is on helping people navigate their journey with greater ease, ensuring they feel supported not just clinically through nutrition care, occupational therapy, and speech pathology, but as a whole person.
