Services Offered

The Patient Approach offers in-person group peer support sessions for anyone navigating an unexpected health diagnosis, treatment journey, or sudden loss. These are closed sessions — registration must be made by phone call to ensure the right fit for everyone. Starting in August, sessions will be held across Logan, Cleveland, Redland Bay, and Brisbane’s Southside (Bulimba) - With more locations to come. Each session costs $25 and numbers are limited to keep groups small and supportive, giving people the chance to share, listen, and feel truly understood by others who genuinely “get it.” 

There are currently 8 types of Health Events that we host group sessions for. These are: 

• Pregnancy loss
   
• Pregnancy after loss
   
• Infertility & IVF/ Trying to conceive/ Endometriosis/ PCOS
   
• Cancer (diagnosis, treatment & post-treatment)
   
• Mums undergoing cancer treatment
   
• Life Changing Injuries (Amputation, Spinal, Brain injuries etc)

• Grief and sudden loss

• Carers
