Meet Our Life Transition Doula

Jacqui is a Life Transitions Doula and part of The Patient Approach team, supporting individuals and families navigating life-changing diagnoses, from the point of diagnosis through to end-of-life, and beyond.

In her role as a Doula, Jacqui provides non-clinical emotional, social, practical and spiritual support, along with advocacy for individuals and their families, ensuring no one feels alone. And that they are deeply listened to and heard. 

Jacqui offers guidance and support with planning, creating space for meaningful conversations about who and what matters most, as well as grief, loss and bereavement support.

She also assists in exploring and crafting important life events and ceremonies that honour each person's wishes, values and legacy.

The unique role of the Doula complements the support provided by family, friend and health professionals, often helping to bridge the gaps with compassionate, person-centred care.
